EADA Business School

EADA Business School

The renovation of the EADA headquarters has made it possible to adapt the building to the current needs of a 21st-century business school, organizing the uses of the building in a more functional way and improving accessibility. Stairs and elevators have been relocated and classrooms and common spaces have been distributed around the core of the project, the new façade. This façade increases the natural lighting capacity of the interior and incorporates solar control elements that regulate comfort and characterize the overall image. Sustainability has been key to the project. Therefore, energy efficiency systems have been installed, as well as passive thermal insulation and solar protection systems. The result is an intelligent building that gives innovation, protection and interior comfort, taking advantage of the impact of sunlight, while interacting with the outside and integrating into the city through a changeable façade inspired by the historic buildings of the Eixample.
